The symbolic olive of a healthy diet
Meaty, flavourful and versatile, Kalamon Olives come from Greece and are named after the city of Kalamata, a region situated between the sea and the hills to the south of the Peloponnese.
With a black and purple colour, long shape and succulent flesh, these olives are characterised by a unique taste and unmistakeable mildly bitter flavour.
They are one of the oldest Greek varieties, the undisputed star of table olives in Greece. A product of excellence across the world, they are a symbol of quality and a healthy diet.
Serving suggestion
Seasoned Kalamon Olives are ideal as finger food, to be served at an aperitif, to enhance starters or as a condiment for pasta, alongside tomato-based sauces.
Their sharp and aromatic flavour makes them ideal for pairing with cheese and vegetable recipes. Together with feta, they are the main ingredient in the original recipe for Greek salad.
