Leccino Olives, one of the most popular cultivars in Italy, are grown especially in Tuscany and represent the excellence of our Bel paese. The fruit is medium-sized and its colour ranges from green to purple, depending on its level of ripeness. The tender flesh, with a delicate flavour and slightly sweet and bitter notes, is enhanced by the Mediterranean flavours of chilli pepper and oregano.

Serving suggestion

The Chilli Pepper and Oregano Pitted Black Olives from the Special Jars Line are excellent for creating flavourful aperitifs: alone, on bruschetta or paired with cured meat and cheese. They make for an appetising and light starter. Their Mediterranean aroma can also be used in a flavourful condiment for pizza, focaccia and savoury tarts, or to ramp up fresh salads like caprese or to flavour sauces, meat and fish.
