Serving suggestion
Digestive, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, but fragrant above all else, oregano is mainly used in its dried form in recipes to season dishes with tomato, such as pizza and caponata. It is wonderful on grilled meat and fish, including marinades. Its flavour adds a Mediterranean touch to fillings for vegetables and meat. It can be used to flavour a quality olive oil, alone or with garlic and chilli pepper.
