    Olives from a sustainable supply chain

    Environmental awareness has led us to create, in December 2008, one of the largest integrated photovoltaic solar plants registered in Italy through which we self-produce electricity.

    We chose to be entered voluntarily within the national list of EMAS organisations (Community Eco-Management and Audit System) with which we undertake to declare annually the environmental impact data in relation to the company activities carried out, thus exposing us to the evaluation and improvement of the efficiency of the environment.

    Production: All production processes are optimised to reduce the use of non-renewable raw materials. We use innovative technologies to increase recycling levels.

    Packaging: we reduce the volume of packaging to a minimum, allowing saving on the dispersion into the environment.

    Transport: we organise the shipment of our products through “groupage” in order to make the entire transport chain more sustainable.
